My Toasty Roast of Sharon W.

Sharon talks about my muse well, I could sometimes use ... Hers! Now that a score is cast well, she's just way out past ... Soupers! Hear the rush and whirring as she passes though our time? with another Soup comment stirring then races off to post a rhyme and then ... Look! I see her everywhere ... when I go to see a New Poet she's already been there! Don't you know it, I'll never catch up she's just too far gone so I lift my cup to toast my talented friend ... (... and if I could have found a word to rhyme with gone this might have had a different end)

So, just to let you know, I will be thinking of you and if you ever need a friend to write to, or talk to (would be happy to call you) you got one right here. I just cannot think of anything else to say to let you know how sad I am for you and how I wish I could change things or do anything to make it easier. Big hugs and love to you and Mister. In my prayers. Love, Shar xoxoxo

Wow Sue, this sure isn't me anymore. Thanks again so much for writing this, you sweet, thoughtful, unique and talented person. Anyway, just to let you know, been off the soup for a while, due to, well, personal crap shall we say. So, in case you posted and I missed it, I am sorry. More sorry to read your blog. My heart cannot handle all the pain and sadness in the world, and when it is someone I know, it is unbearable. Cont'd...

Yawn rhymes--so does swan, dawn, fawn, lawn, drawn, pawn, spawn....LOL! I have a scholastic rhyming book I picked up at the thrift store for 25 cents--its my prized possession! I love your talent! You don't need a rhyming book!

Great tribute, Sue, to a wonderful person. Sharon is living proof of what I said in my blog...the more you do, the more time you have...which is why I would never dare use being too busy as my excuse for not posting enough comments! Oh, and you are wonderful too. Love, Nigel

Aw Sue!!! You are just too thoughtful here. And yes, I am chuckling just a bit, especially from Fred's comment (I call him Wilfriedo-but don't ask me why). All I can say is thank you so much for this toasty roast! And thank you to all my dear commenter friends, too. Some people are just obsessed with certain things you know and with me, well it's the soup. I keep saying I will slow down and sometimes I do, but I always seem to come back. It's a joy with people like you! Cheers! Hugs! xoxo
