My Time

A very long time ago
I created my time
I created my window

All I saw
Was my time
Seeing only what was

Within was my soulmate
It was my time
This was all I saw

I had love
I had compassion
I had passion
I saw my soulmate

Only what was
Within my time
Did I see

When my time window
Was emptied by one
With my soulmate

My time then changed
Faded memories
Appeared slowly

I saw new beauty
After the omission
I had new passions

I searched for new love
A fog was removed

Seeing beauty
Not seen before the omission
Kept me
That way

This is a great poem. Love can make a person too dependent. Allow room for growth.

Hilda: This was one of the quickest thought transfers I have ever written. Sitting watching TV and from there to the keyboard. I write for cure as "growth", here would be breaking the rule.
