My Teenager's Bedroom
I walked into my teenager's room,
There's stuff all over the floor,
It's absolutely everywhere,
I'm surprised, I could open the door.
There's yesterday's school uniform,
Wet towels from his shower,
I wish I could make it miraculously disappear,
Oh, I wish I had that power.
There's empty bottles and cans,
There's snack wrappers too,
There's junk stuffed under his bed,
What the hell am I to do?
I think I'll just condemn this tip,
It looks just like a war zone,
When he gets home from school,
Oh my word, he'll hear me moan.
He's not going on his X-box,
He'll be lucky if he gets his tea,
He's tidying that mess up first,
He's not leaving it to me.
