My Supplication To the Almighty
I am never intimidated,
or resticted testifying
on Your behalf, but always
courageous and motivated
to let others know in verse
the distorted shunned truth.
Numerous tendencies
and inclinations due
to imperfections weaken
the faithless soul
and the erring spirit.
My supplication to the Almighty
is to live a purposeful, tranquil life
and the same blessing
I ask for my loved ones;
I pledge a deeper respect
for my parents and superiors,
especially for mother
who has guided me
half-way to Paradise
through her daily examples and
inspirational prayers.
I am easily prone to fall into the pit of sin
and into the grievous negligence,
but with the wisdom the Bible givs:
I can rest assured that no harm
I will ever encounter while living.
My supplication to the Almighty
is to never let the sharp swords
of the unbelievers pose a threat
and stop the warm bloodstream
in this body beautified by Him.
I supplicate the God of David
to whom he dedicated wonderful verses
of humility, faith, wisdom, and virtue
to preserve all thoughts in the hearts of men
when they are faced with the dilemma of choices;
they will perceive that without God's guidance
they will drown in a sea of lust and greed.
