My Stolen Heart

Someone took my love ashore
It was a warm summer day,
my body swayed, feeling of being lifted
in a very odd but glorious way
Across lakes, mountain tops
across two worlds, shores apart
generations of deep beautiful thoughts
Love drifted me apart
from/to a world unknown,
trapped in another zone
paralyzed by dreams,
a special someone to love
My thoughts clear as the sky above
as thy night falls, my daylight rose
to serenades of deep passionate love
Where shall my heart land,
in whose heart will my love adorn,
years of lonely tears drifting over shores
My heart beats rapidly towards
a far away love, so gently taken
locked within thy dome of images,
words and beautiful love songs.
Peaceful quiet fills the nights.
Shadow of thy words
my heart's guiding light,
to love longed for in destined times
floating between worlds
shifting on different clocks.
A heart so simply beautiful
you took to console thy own
destined for only you
my stolen heart.
