My Soul Is An Ocean
My soul is an ocean..
I wade in euphoric waters all day
In my dreams I am a traveler
But when awoken I come to life
I swim along as the hours pass by
Until again I drift off into the night
Do you think it should be reversed?
Am I dreaming or awake?
Some think that it is a curse but
Against the grain is the bed that I make
My soul is an ocean..
I am at one with my mind
I might be human
A mere traveler by moonlight
To pass by the time
But in my heart I am sublime
Thoughts are waves
My feelings are the currents
I'm constantly wading, awaiting
Refueling in the waters that give me life
Tide pools for eyes
When you look at me am I there?
I am not lost
My soul is just an ocean..
