My Soul
Last night I went inside my soul
To see if I knew exactly who I was
I try to live the good life by helping everyone
But I somehow knew that it was not enough
My soul had a tiny door but somehow I sneaked in
There was a ray of light ahead and I continued on
Along a clover pathway with blossoms on its side
The light ahead grew brighter as I neared an ivy gate
But the gate was locked with tiny strands of gold
As I tried to open it I heard a soothing voice
That said,
"It’s not your time yet so please do not return
You still have years to live so use the time to
clean your soul"
