My Silly Sis Who I Do Love and Miss
My silly sis who I do love and miss
You wonder why she cries and laugh as hard
Then sing or dance with such an awful twist
Or chat with anyone without regard?
The food that Ate ate, was it too sweet?
Or just o'erjoyed in tears to be back home?
With family and friends she longed to meet
Our little ones she kissed have all now grown
To be away so oft has been her lot
For all her life did work herself to death
That those unwell and weak in pain might not
The faint back home she never did forget
I've no more mom, yet have an eldest sis
What else is there a baby bro could wish?
