My Ship Is Coming

My Ship is Coming Written by Brett Somers On 3-18-16
From ocean’s bottom My ship rises Unknown to me I wonder what majesty It will be What truth will come about When stern and bow come out It crests ocean’s top And here I stop I weep on my knees Why did I not know 40 years of my life to appease But now it’s clear Where my ship will steer A new horizon An eastward gale I’m ready now To finally set sail
