My Sentiment On Love

Lying in my bed with you on my mind you are miles away but the memories brings you so close I sometimes feel your body next to mine If you could touch me you would feel my heart racing with thoughts of you they make the lonely nights more tolerable your voice although only over the phone still weaken my knees I just want you to know with this pen and paper that, “I will love you forever”…

I just read a lady by the name of Joy Wellington, you both have similar perspective on love ... the pledge of personal commitment.

Wilma, it seems we do have a few things in common. Our love is eternal and our true love is not very close to us. Great write and congrats on your win in Audrey's contest. Love, lots, Joy (Jew)

Dear Wilma, Thank you for supporting my contest with this heartfelt write..only the heart knows the depth of the love it feels..it only cares for the seemily little things that hold joy everlasting! ...his voice, his words...I wish you had expanded, but still it was good! Enjoyed it. Love, Audrey

It has to be true love if your knees weaken when you just hear his voice on the phone, Wilma. Sometimes the anticipation of the "touch" is more exciting than the event itself. A beautiful poem that would make a great entry for Audrey's contest if you haven't already entered one. Love, Carolyn
