My Scars

Author Dana Redricks December 16, 2823 In the depths of my struggles, I once believed that my scars were badges of shame, never to be relieved. But my God, Yahweh, sees beyond this façade, He knows my worth, oh how deeply I’m loved. The Creator of everything, He understands, Sympathizes with sorrows that darken our lands. Though I have stumbled countless times, I’ve learned, God never gives up on me, and His love me is unmeasurable. His love is incomprehensible, divine, and pure, Humans may see my flaws, but He sees me for who I am. He sees my qualities, and the beauty I possess within. I’m learning to wear my badges with honor, not with disgrace. I am standing tall and taking my place. For these scars have shaped me, made me who I am, I hold my head high, knowing in Christ, I have been redeemed by the Great I AM. In Him, I’m forever free, walking in a long line of royalty. The winds may blow, and the waves may crash. But in Christ, I stand and remain unshakable, and unmovable. The enemy seeks to deceive, undervalue, and destroy us. Never let us undervalue our worth, or underestimating the value within, But faithful souls will conquer, triumph over sin. So let us rise, embrace the love that’s been given, accept your worth, in the eyes God, we are forgiven. No longer in shame, let us proudly proclaim, we are cherished, valued, and known by our name.
