My Sandcastle

My home, an island haven. Surrounded by the sea. Moon tides bringing waves in. Giving peace and tranquility. In times of need, it is my fortress strong. Shielding me from the storm. Where my heart hears its own song The melody welcoming and warm. When going out for the day, Attending to life's demands. I carry the knowledge that I will find my way, Back to my castle built on the sands. The ocean has come to know me well. There are emotions that we share. I have found acceptance in this place that I dwell. Its every nuance I am aware. Although I am alone, I am not lonely here. A beautiful constant, is outside my door. I feel comfort, knowing it is always near. A bit of paradise, my home at the seashore.
