"Has solitude ever led your steps down a forest path to linger."
Quote by _ Poet
Forests are my safe sanctuary,
where among trees I find breathing space;
I find refuge when I need to be solitary.
Down green hued paths are bird songs merry,
each view, smell and sound I embrace;
forests are my safe sanctuary.
The wind flows over me fresh, cool and airy,
and I love the wildflowers like Queen Anne's lace;
I find refuge when I need to be solitary.
In nature all my sadness and grief I can just bury,
finding instead a portal to a magical place;
forests are my safe sanctuary.
I stop to rest and eat some wild raspberry,
noticing how the sky, clouds, and trees interlace;
I find refuge when I need to be solitary.
In time my soul and mind is no longer weary,
and I am left with nature's blessing and grace;
forests are my safe sanctuary,
I find refuge when I need to be solitary . . .
