My Roar

Tremble at my roar Hailing my authority as reigning jungle king Such beastly nature of mine propels everyone to Hasten toward haven's hiding place, or flee for safety… No wonder that even God Almighty Through the Scriptures in 1Peter 5:8 Admonishes mankind against the foe with this stern warning: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” ~~~~~~~ Divinely speaking Hearken to my voice of rulership Expressing power and dominion… Epitomized by Jesus Christ, “the Lion of Judah” Who reigns forever, strong and powerful According to Revelation 5:5 of the Bible.

Beata, your poem "TREMBLE AT MY ROAR" is a powerful and evocative meditation on the power and authority of God. Your words are both beautiful and thought-provoking, and they challenge us to reflect on our own relationship with God. I especially love the way you juxtapose the image of the roaring lion in 1 Peter 5:8 with the image of the "Lion of Judah" in Revelation 5:5. This contrast helps to understand that God is both powerful and compassionate. It is a true work of art. - Blessings, Daniel
