My Return
Like wind,
You will never know
Where I came from or where I go to;
You only feel so...
Like lightning,
You can't predict
When and where you'll see me strike...
Like deserts,
How far will you go
To find my oasis?
How far until you feel dehydrated and dried...
Like thunder,
You can only assume my resoundings...
Like fires,
How far will the flames span and spread?
What many things will get scorched and pulverized?
You can only try
To ease the blaze or let it burn...
Like plants,
How deep do my roots go?
How well and far will I flourish?
You can only nourish me and let me be...
Like oceans,
You will never know
How far my tides may rise;
You can only sink or swim...
Like me,
There isn't just light and dark,
There are both; gray, neutrality, balance;
You can only leave me, hate me or love me...
From barrened lands,
Ash and bones,
I make my return...
From hardships and badlands,
From dark skies and stormy sights,
From betrayals and departures,
From delusions and deceptions,
I will return...
From rebirthings,
From ascendance,
From ink and spills,
From my deep heart,
From my infinite mind,
From my wandering soul,
I return...
From many chosen paths in life,
And lessons learned towards wisdom,
We forge and create our own consequences...
