My Power Generator
I spent the rent
Money on a power generator
Where I sent
To power my refrigerator
When the power went out
I cried with grief
Knowing my beef
Will spoil right on the spot
I don’t enjoy the hot summers
Where there’s no air conditioning
That’s what happened, a bummer
When the power went out, motioning
Me to go get a generator
Something strong
To go along
And will make me feel greater
Now that I’ve it hooked up
All power coming from it
No longer do I have to corrupt
The lights will surely be lit
The fridge can be cool still
By the power
Of my tower
Generator, outside the window sill
My neighbors are quite jealous
All wanting the same thing
But it’s all quite delicious
When I eat a frozen something
“Next time the power goes out
I will be prepared to shout
I have the power to continue, with
Uninterrupted electrical venue”
