Poesy of Mine
“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.” Psalm 45:1 of the King James Bible
Poem writing adds zest to my wellness’ glow
I do testify with wondrous delight
Through verses and rhymes midst gratitude-flow
Praising the Lord Who inspires by His light.
My soul exposes jubilant worship
Thankfulness to God, always good and kind
Since He kindles my muse midst fellowship
In apt expressions, mindfully designed.
Humble aim to exalt the Almighty
Propels quatrains and sonnets from the heart
Praying that such props trust-tenacity
Exposing faith, smiting hopelessness’ dart.
Exalting Jesus Christ for mercy grant
With poetic commitment of blest zeal
My spirit declares glad triumphant chant
To cheer along grace, peace and kindness seal.
Blissfully proclaiming the Saviour’s love
My poetry persists with divine sweet chime
Wrought by compassion from heaven above
Echoing that “God is good all the time.”
