My planet

                            A gem in the universe, an oasis in the sky
                                        Full of life and vividity
                                 A symphony of countless chords
                          Adding flesh and blood to rocks and stones

                             Kissed by the sun, blessed by the stars
                              The tiny dot of cosmic crystallization 
                                 Rearing oceans, forests, desserts,
                               Summer, winter, autumn and Spring

                                   Turning abstract into concrete
                            With thought, imagination and intuition 
                             Imparting meaning to space and time
                                Much beyond terrestrial existence

                             Never at rest, breeding day and night 
                               With birds, breeze, dawn and dusk
                                Summer, winter, clouds and rain
                              And loving all her offspring equally 

                                Intrinsically innocent and benign
                              Always conscious of her obligations
                           Sacrificing her comforts for the dwellers
                           The sweet song of eternity never sleeps
