My Piece of Gold/Your White Lines
Denial flows for so long
My eyes and my hands are slowly aging
Whilst yours have already melted down to the bone
You could do better than me
Someone gorgeous, intelligent, patient, sensible
Tried to change you when I needed it more
So here I am, leaving you one last time
Maybe we could finish some things now
Never on our feet when back together
Just on our backs, on the grass, in the sack, amongst the rocks
Don't say you're okay 'cause I can read you well
I can read you line after line
Line after line
Line after line
