My Phoenix Shall Rise

Scattered among these broken pieces lay the remains of what once was... That which only yesterday rode high upon wings of hope and possibility. This .... leading me now to intersection of restless mind and questioning heart ..... both found wandering the corridors of memory's recall in searching contemplation of the sorted path I now trod. ... Yet with understanding it be of grave remiss to proclaim my sorrowed outcome a grand surprise. For such lofty goals are far more often born within the minds of the gods. Alas are not the dreams of men oft found as broken shards of glass, no more than to be swept from the floor - as souls from the face of the earth- tossed then aside in favor of that more useful and complete. Thus birthed the recognition and full understanding of gains from having suffered loss ..... there being no fault found in such aspirations as to dream as the gods themselves.... and perhaps even to their delight ! Therefore newfound breeze of hope come's calling.... bringing whisperings of new hopes and restored dreams .... providing lifting winds under the wings of what shall be My Phoenix.... Oh...that I might rise from the ash and soar once more within the heavens and among the gods. Darrell
