My Pen Had Something To Say

Teasing and taunting “Release all those hidden rhymes.” Words played in my mind beckoning those late night thoughts; My pen had something to say; A knife at my throat words lay kisses on my neck whispering “Let go; Set free what is trapped inside; Write or your words die” High on ideas teasing the tip of my tongue; Held down and restrained bound by an obsessive hand; My pen had something to say.

A very unique description of writer's block, Melani. It seems at times, the pen always knows just the right thing to say:)
