My Pen

In tears and sorrow
                                          it would be
                                      When I lay down
                                             my pen
                                       If never I could
                                         Cleanse my
                                             heart
                                       Through poetry
                                             again

Thank you Jan :-) It really would be a sorrow if you lost your pen. I have enjoyed reading your poems many times in the past, and now there is, hopefully, a lull in the busy-ness that has gripped me for months. I can hardly wait to get over and see what your pen has been up to! <3

Congratulations on your win BJ! This reminds me of Emily Dickinson. The heart of a poet in poignant words. Congratulations on your win.

Thank you Jenna <3 A poets pen, the channel off the rivers of our hearts would be an unspeakably great loss to any poet for certain <3
