My Oblivion

My love, shaken to its foundations,

          what I thought was immortal,

          what i thought was eternal.

    My mind, drowning, falling, running,

And before me, echoes of our life,

          serenity, of my downward spiral.

    So lost are my desires,

love pushed to oblivion, my failers.

    A union in ruin,

          where is my adversity,

          where is my forgivness,

Is this the moment, the longing,

after all this time, could there be love.

the past must be gone, forever

This is, my life in your hands,

these words, of my heart are yours,

          my inspiration, my sacrifice,

for my soul, still calls your name.

I sense the sadness of a loss john, a difficult thing to come to terms with. I know your faith will see you through and give the comfort you badly need. Luv, Lizzie

Emotive and cleansing...HE KNEW this poem before it came to LIFE. Remember we will all stand before Him in our naked shame. He will throw our dirty laundry to the depths of the seas and wrap His eternal loving arms around YOU and yours.

I keep falling, getting up and unfortunately repeating the same old. I'm learning but being human, it is so hard. The downward spiral holds captive but with His strength I hope to overcome. Thanks for posting dear friend. You always give food for thought!

The same name I call, especially when I fall- John, sometime I'm lost in the confusion on forgiveness. I don't have the same mentality others do. I seek deeper, and this new me stays away from the stains and longing of the world, I really am an un-social person. In my little box I have this world called the soup. Maybe it inspires me some, I can't corporate with this ruined society, I ask God, however to help me with my lack of forgiveness, and to help me restore my adversity. Thank you,..p.d
