My Nonny's House

Give away wine,
Give away currency,
But you can’t say I approve,
Give away clothing,
Give away jewelry,
But you can’t say I approve,
Give away utensils,
Give away recipes,
But you can’t say I approve,
You wish to sell a piece of your own history-
For unnecessary personal profit,
But you cannot say I will forgive you,
We as humans with souls-
We tend to forgive and forget,
Forgive-
Perhaps by the time I becomes as aged as you,
Forget-
Never under any circumstances-
I may perish to hell but as the flames singe my skin-
I will remember.
