My Never Vows
Let me never defy God’s instruction
And redefine it based on my notion...
...Being warned of such carnal commotion
I yield to Him with joyous submission.
Let me never undermine God’s design
And pursue after my worldly dream sign...
...Being helped from tendency to resign
I fulfill tasks to me He did assign.
Let me never neglect God’s good project
And insist on my vain selfish prospect...
...Being told that His will I can’t reject
I trust His best for me with faith's respect.
Let me never abuse God’s gracious ways…
...I should thank, praise, love Him all my life’s days*!
