My Mountain Home

Where eagles soar above the low-lying hills Here towering pines hold up the azure skies In humble mountain home my heart thrills, Where eagles soar above the low-lying hills And dip suddenly for water in rippling rills If I think of leaving tears well up in my eyes, Where eagles soar above the low-lying hills Here towering pines hold up the azure skies. If I think of leaving tears well up in my eyes In humble mountain home my heart thrills Where eagles soar above the low-lying hills And dip suddenly for water in rippling rills Here towering pines hold up the azure skies My love for my mountain home never dies.

Your imagery makes me want to run down to Kentucky and sit on your porch and see those diving eagles, Hank. "In humble mountain home my heart thrills Where eagles soar above the low-lying hills" I may show up one of these days with two dogs and a first husband.

You are always welcome. I could let Buddy roam in my fenced back yard. Of course, he'd probably jump the fence! (chuckling) It's all covered with a thick blanket of snow right now.
