My Mother is an Oak Tree
My mother is an oak tree.
I sleep beneath her sunlit arms,
My skin dappled with light.
I know she is my mother because she is warmth.
I have never known a warmth like this,
sleepy and sunlit
How could I?
My mother is an oak tree.
