My Moon
Can you bring me the moon
No no not the plumper one
But the fingernail moon
I will hang it in portico of my home
Shining in dim silver glow
At center of wind chime
With little stars around them
Singing lullabies to half-awoken flowers
To unfurl petals in midnight hours
Winking stars shall form choir
Floating with the breeze
I bathe in the crystal streaks of moonlit monochrome
Accompanying me through my sleepless nights
Raging and falling desires of my heart
Are meticulously cared by his unperturbed glance
To lighten weight upon my shoulders
His coy whispers shall echo in my ears
Paving my path to dream land
Shimmering in liquid luna lace
Can you bring me my moon
My life's most craved elusive love
