My Mind Never Waits For Permission

my mind never waits for permission
Jumping in with exuberant joy
Leaping life’s pages two at a time

Flipping people as fast as chapters
Sure it may seem fickle, but I am a Gemini
My life is mercurial. I move fast.

I successfully eliminate chaff quickly
so I can reach my next chapter,
and my next volume.
I despise wasting time.

I am a slow mover, always weighing the pros and cons, giving bad people 2nd and 3rd chances because I hate to give up on someone but sometimes it really is good to just "move on". Great little poem. One time I pretty much threw away everything that filled up my three-car garage. My husband was running outside to try and stop me, but it was too late. I am fast.
