My Man

A man I know ....
 
A man I see before me 
Is a man in every meaning
Knowledge in his words
A mind of many sides
A lover of kindness
A lover of mine 
His strength is bold
His understanding is heart felt
A determination in his being
A teacher to his young
A wisdom that he has learned
A respect and love to his teacher 
His passion is passion its self
A fire that wants to be free
A hunger for desire and to be desired
He knows how it is to feel alone
His heart has been torn
But still he feels with love and admire
A man of strive and ability and morals
He works hard and strong and is a good father
Like the seed that grows with nature
His home needs the heart that completes 
For his children to feel the breeze of laughter
And love that makes you sleep with ease
I know this man 
He lights up my day
I love this man in everyway
I understand the way his heart races faster
The look in his eye as he smiles
I am even in part of his dreams
His thoughts are carefully said 
A voice that helps when a voice is needed 
Caring wisdom is shared 
Nor does he judge just encouragement is given
A man of spirit that is free to be free
A love that is strong a man that is real
And best of all I can say 
He is my man
