My Man

For so long I have dreamed of you
My mate for life the one that’s true
Searching deep within my soul
Longing for that one to hold
Hoping nothing would tear us apart 
Burning desire ablaze in my heart
Looking to the future for a sign
Praying you're in God’s design
Passion, romance, and gentle charm
A kindred spirit with strong arms
Kisses just as sweet as honey
Never relying only on money
Oh, to know you would be a treat
When at last we finally meet
