My Man

I have loved you even before i knew it
I have loved you even before the mess
I have loved you even after the flaws
I have loved My Man

Even when you got home drunk
I loved you
Even when you laid your hand on me
I loved you
Even when you took without my consent
I loved you
even you lied
I loved you

I loved without question
I loved you when they walked away from you
I loved you even when you lost it all
I loved you even when you got the disease
And gave it to me as present
I truly loved My Man

Even when my heart was weak
I loved you
Even when I couldn't step out
I loved you
Even when I decided it was enough
I loved you

Even when I took that knife to your heart asleep
I loved you
Even when you breathed your last breath
I loved you
When I sat myself free
I loved you

On your funeral i cried genuinely
Because I loved you
I have loved you My Man
No man deserve such love
But you My Love
I have loved you

This makes complete sense to me. It's a brave poem, and it will make much sense to many others also. Well versed, Cathrine. My muse and I are both applauding for it.
