My Luna

I often find myself forgetting.
I’m letting myself, sink in darkness.
Hurt is setting across my heartless chest,
to remember what it was like loving you.

I miss my best friend,
I miss my lover.
I miss the one who was there,
when I had no other.

I miss the one, that chose me,
every time she rose.
I yearn for her to hold me,
though she is also gone.

With you, I lived a thousand lives.
I loved a lifetime in your nights.
I burned ten forever’s, in one fight,
your stubborn head had you lose sight,
so did mine.

I waited patiently, for a tide to roll in,
my heart is aching, for the moon’s not coming.
I waited for so long, changed myself to feel me calming,
my life’s ran out, I dreamt of falling.

It was my calling to live in the name of you,
every word I ever uttered to you was true.
I would have sold my soul to see you bloom,
your dreams were mine, my sweet blue moon.

There was once a time,
where your heart could not stand to see me cry.
Though I feel times they truly fly,
as your heart does not wish to dry

And there can be no more chances.
There can be no more words, no pleads for answers.
No rhymes, no time and no replies.
I begged you to beg for me, my biggest crime.

And to us, I’ll never be free
Your hands I will hold, as long as there’s me.
I will always hold you, whenever you need.
Just dream once again, you’ll see us just be.

Though this story, is ending for pages,
and we were once a breath, now distant strangers,
I can’t help but feel too helpless.
I was never good enough for you.

You couldn’t just enjoy the view,
hold me close and tell me true.
You couldn’t place some faith in you,
you should’ve stayed, that much I knew.

I wasn’t worth as much as you,
I saw you, how you couldn’t see you.
I hope you’re loved, as I loved you,
I hope you’re happy, even if I burn for you.

These are the words, I say to you last.
These are the lines, that are drying in past.
Rhymes from a man, who’s vanishing fast,
the one that you knew, his death was so sad.

If you miss him, come visit this site,
where his soul was laid down,
a beacon, a light.
Let his memory, serve as a guide,
to those whom enter our lives.

Appreciate, for moments go by,
it’s better to breathe, than ever to lie.
For once you do that, the spirit it dies,
the question that kills, is as simple as why?

Farewell, my little bright moon,
my one beautiful life.
