When my lover gazed into my tearful eyes I inhaled her sweet whispering sighs Felt her warmth against my chest Then I knew her blessed, Her loving Best Behooving Me, at her behest, To bring her to that next crest With passion we sought the waiting prize When my lover gazed into my tearful eyes.

Victor, this is an Andaree, a form invented by our own dear Andrea Dietrich. I suggest you look it up in the New Poetry Forms section and give it a try. The syllable count is very exact and the rhyme scheme is precise. Thanks for the read and your comment.
