My Love My Best Friend
Not owning you,
Letting you be free,
Be your own person.
Watching you smile,
Hearing you laugh,
Seeing your glow,
I’m lucky to stand beside you,
Holding your hand.
In love with my best friend,
Near or far,
Protecting you and loving you,
I won’t give up on us.
Filling all my disowned parts,
Teaching me I am perfect,
Laughing and smiling with you,
Crying, yelling, loving, hating,
Standing strong as a team.
The perfect love,
The perfect team,
I am your rock,
You are my sunshine,
Go do your thing,
I will support you through all.
Making gentle love daily,
A little rough and tumble,
Passion and hate,
Is my perfect love.
