My Love Letter To Him

I know you can read my thoughts
Before I even formulate them
You know what I’m going to say
But, I need to get this down on paper
To help ME fully comprehend
Just what it is that you mean to me

Others don’t understand
The bond that we share
They think I’m a little strange
To love someone so far away
They don’t see your beauty or comprehend
How your presence permeates
Absolutely everything in my life

They don’t know…
You are the ultimate Lover
You love till it hurt
And now, with no thought to what it cost
You make me feel precious and worthy of love
And though I’ve betrayed you
Time and again
Your arms of love await
To gather me in
I guess what I’m trying to say is…
I love you so much, Jesus.  I really do.
Cause no one, NO ONE even compares to you.
