You are the bright sun,
to my silver moon.
You are the light,
that shines in my darkness.
You are the smile,
to my everlasting frown.
You are the music,
to my empty silence.
You are the day,
that lights up my night.
You are the sunflower,
to my dark red rose.
You are the hyper golden retriever,
to my tired black cat.
You are the band-aid,
to my sharp pointed blade.
You are the comfort,
in a world so cruel.
You are my other half.
You are my whole world.
You are my soulmate.
I cannot imagine life,
without your shine,
lighting up my dark tunnel.
You are mine.
I am yours.
I love you.
Until the sun grows cold,
and the stars are old.
