My Lord and My God

Why should I love you less?
Why should I keep a few to myself?
You have been my everything
You supplied my every need
Kept me from harm and shame
Delivered me from utter destruction
Saved me from impending danger
Kept my every move
Directed my many paths
And lead me through all I have seen

What do I have that you did not give?
What did I do that you did not help me
What have I accomplished that you did not ’t give
Where have I been that you did not take me to?

My entirety is composed of you
My all belongs to you
I couldn’t have been without you

Why then should I love you less?
Be exalted in all that I do
Be magnified in all that I am
Be adored wherever I go
I love you so dearly
For you are all that I would ever desire.
