My Loneliness
As lonely as a gravestone
Inscribed with a name
That time has long forgot
Hidden away under the undergrowth
Where my bones are left to rot.
As empty as a river now dry
That once used to flow
My life has no longer no direction
My heart no home to go.
As frightened as an unwanted kitten
Thrown into a sack
Crying out in the darkness
For it's Mother to come back.
The clock ticks away
And I die a little more everyday
Who cares if I live or die
There's no one their to hear my cries
Anyway.
