My Living Dream
All throughout my life, I've had a dream.
One of which without constraint.
Where I can sing and play and shine a beam
Onto my own life that I paint.
You see, this paint is more than color;
It's laughter and love without the gloom.
I need my art and not this dollar;
That fake flower will never bloom.
In this dream, my soul does speak
To me in ways so deeply known
So I can see the ways that I shall peak
And live this life that I will own.
I need to bridge this plan to action
To feel and see where I will go.
There'll be no selfish deeds that need retraction
Because divine love will always grow.
