My Little Kitten

My Little Kitten

Curled up in her basket
Laying asleep
I came in the room
And took a peep

In a split second
She woke up
I went to her
And picked her up

I took her out
And bought some milk
She slurped it up
Sitting on some silk

She slurped and slurped
Until she was full
Then she burped
And played with some wool.

Author's note: This poem was written when I was just eleven for an assignment.
So maybe it will not be very good. I just wanted to put it up still....Maryam

Poetry is written from the heart. Sincerity is beautiful. This is great, not because you were eleven, but because it is real. Vince
