My Little Garden Cherub

My little garden cherub...

she inflates my heart
with love and laughter...

she shelters me...
in peace and quiet...
over yonder in the grassy
noel...

she delivers loving smiles...

she sends gifts of rose
and lilac buds...

they're dipped in the mountain
spring to harness the kisses
within...sent from her above

she wraps my love in rainbows...
places forget me knots in my
hair...

she'll be back tomorrow...
with her my poetry I share...

we go off to a quiet place...
where imagination and magic
meet...

my little garden cherub my
imagination within me...
