My Litle Angel

I loved her
That sad little angel
With her broken smile,
And her tattered wings.

She sat there
Mascara streaking away
From eyes like glowing embers,
As she watched him leave.

She turned to me
Pleading me to stay
Her slight hands grasping mine,
Pulling me under.

I followed her
Down the hallway
Into her dim bedroom,
Only then she kissed me.
