My Lips Kissed

.

            Affectionately
          the warmth was
   pressed 'gainst mine flesh

         This heart of mine
                tottered
                   for
     it was flesh 'gainst flesh

     Not one betrothed to I
          yet one of yore

Yes the one who had this man
        in one glint panic
causing the flush in mine face
     sweat in mine palms
          causing mine
       miraculous psalms

  This one kissed mine lips
         this last sunrise

Yes, this same one had I
    like a soft heart'd man
                melting
             wanting not
            her soft wave
               goodbye
