My Life's Wonder
You gave me the dream
Then You made the dream come true
Just like love pouring out on my heart
Your affection prepares me for the day
When I can finally say…
You, my most precious Savior
My best friend and redeemer
You fill up my soul with a light
That shines through the darkness
Colors the doubt with faith
Awakens the wonder in grace
Reminds me that I have the chance
To lift up my hands in praise
To pray for His unending blessing
To reach out in heaven’s direction
For the moment when my spirit
Will be filled to overflowing
With the kindness and the knowing
That Jesus is the One I can go to
For any dream, any peace, anything
You gave me the dream
And I will always believe
You made a way where no way had been
You brought to life… the joy within
You silenced every worry or fear
With a sense of peace, serene and fulfilling
Bringing faith to life, hope to the promise
Love to the soul of this follower
Of the one and only Savior of the world!
You are my life’s wonder!
