It was summer and I was too young to ever have been in love I heard a Disney-like song that intrigued me. I listened to it over and over again. It was charming and uplifting in a whimsical way with chirpy joyful sounds of a synthesizer in the background. As candlelight flames would dance on through the evening I’d imagine the jitterbug and shimmy as they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed ~ a couple so happy to be in love Floating like the heavens above. And it made me wonder about being in love and about someday kissing someone who would tickle my fancy. I knew I was on the verge of growing up, I had my life ahead of me and how undoubtedly those kisses would lead to my becoming a missus. Good or bad. I wondered about my future listening to Muskrat Love. AP: 1st place 2022 Posted on July 6, 2022
