My Last Wish

How can one say I love you when it is not there /
I baptize the sky and say a prayer.
Once I open up my eyes no one is here/
All my life I have been abandoned and now I have no fear.

I am really not feeling this place/
I do not want to crowd your space.
Ideas and thoughts flow insincere in my mind/
While you are out all I do is look up at the time.

To sum it all up on one try/
All you can say is that “are you telling me another lie”.
This time I speak only of the truth/
If not an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

What we had and what was meant to be are great/
We all are humans and that was one of our most crucial mistake.
When I depart this life and you arrive to my awake/
Do not shed a tear and tell my kids they were never a mistake.

Loved it , a little dark but full of honesty . You did a great job because as I believe you are a poet that gets inspired by the heart .

First off, thank you! Second off all my poetry is raw and uncut! Third off, am always straight and direct. And finally all my poetry is from past experience and from my heart to my brain and from there to whoever willing to read get inspired and write.
