My Last Night
I pushed on the walls of an unlawful community
as hard as i (I) could
and so, i (I) brought it on myself
I made sin turn into lyrics
and show a dim light
on family who control us all
word on paper taken
words from a over mental, impoverished broken mind
you know the words of truth and sin
like things that could be seen from out the dirt window
things that happen to the poor
things that go killing in the night
and sometimes in the day
you are reading the soul of me
and you feel helpless to help me
fear not one tear for me
for what has happen can not bring me back
only true will, in others
will be the light to stop
the darkness of unsavory men of refine
