My King
Take my hand and lead me into the great unknown
And show me all the things that I’ve never been shown
Take my hands and lead me across foreign lands
Teach me how to love you, like only you can.
Take my heart and guard it, protect it with your life
Look upon me with compassion and strengthen me with your eyes
Lend me your ears to confide in, and your shoulder to cry on.
Love me without limits until all the obstacles are gone
Wrap me in your customs; swaddle me in your beliefs
Console me with your words; heal the very core of me
Carry me within you, in the depths of your soul
Share with me the mystery of life that has never been told
Shelter me from storms, Defend me from all harm
Keep me in your prayers; hold me in your arms
Restore my faith in love, treat me like a queen
And I will submit unto you
And worship you as My King
