My Keyboard Yawns

The clock strikes twelve
  my keyboard yawns
Pleads for me to tuck him in

  I say "One more poem"
    He says, "You win"

My keyboard needs to meet your keyboard. He would have no time to yawn. She would keep him up!

Another piece of wit and wisdom from a 'midknight' of the keyboard.

When it wants to flow, just let it go. Now get some rest and stay healthy. Bill

Great wit here, Gershon! Keep on communicating with your 'puter and pounding out verse for our delight. BoB

When the keyboard yawns, my poems can get very messy, probably how I have so many bad ones, but you somehow managed an excellent one here Gershon, cheers David

This is too cute Gershon. I can see you bending over the keyboard trying not to fall asleep but it's the puter who is tired --- not you. ;) Love it. God Bless and a much blessed New Year to you and yours. JB

I liked this poem Gershon, it made me smile because I could relate to it so well. I post most of my poems in the middle of the night because nobody is awake to interrupt me. My computer pleads, "Give me a break! " My stomach says "Feed me, I'm still awake"

Your keyboard yawns because of exhaustion; while mine yawns from boredom!
